Our lead consultant grew up in the local market and understands the needs of both private and public sector clients. We have built a network of solution- oriented partners from Employment Counsel to Benefit Brokers. We have experience in the: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging space; Talent Acquisition, Employee Lifecyle and Engagement, Mergers and Acquisitions, Coaching and People Metrics and Analytics as well as experience in Project Management, Change Management and Organizational Transformation.

McGroarty & Co was founded in 2021 by Alexandra and Michael McGroarty. Alex and Michael were looking to support the communities in which they grew up in, in the HR and Project Management space. Sadly, Michael passed in late 2021, and Alex has continued the company forward while honoring their shared values of integrity, accountability, innovation and a strong focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

In addition to the services mentioned, Alex has also recently authored, Bridging the Gap – Reducing Gender Bias in the Workplace and works with organizations and teams to be more mindful of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and strategies that impact our communities. Her second book, So Now What, Harnessing Grief after Life’s Major Losses is due out in the Spring.

McGroarty & Co. is committed to helping the local community from a philanthropic perspective as well. They entered a 5 -year agreement, in Michael’s honor, with the Greater Philadelphia YMCA in 2022 to support their local tech programs that aim to bridge the technological gap for children and youth in underserved areas in the local area. McGroarty & Co Consulting also supports local charities and non-profits that serve veterans, LGBTQ+, and women and children in need.
