John Blackstock began his tenure as SBA New Jersey District Director on February 28, 2022, bringing several years of experience as the office’s Deputy District Director with him. Previous to SBA service, John served at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Department of Commerce. Blackstock is also a retired service-disabled veteran who served our nation in uniform. He is very eager to create lasting partnerships with the New Jersey lending community and key stakeholders throughout the Garden State.
