On April 1st 2017, KENJ opened its doors at 121 Market Street in Camden, New Jersey and we are quickly approaching our 5th anniversary earlier next year. KENJ has worked feverishly to become integrated within the social fabric and vision for South Jersey and continuously strives to demonstrate their commitment to providing excellent client service, quality and a sustainable approach to the Region. The firm is certified as a Small Business and Minority Business Enterprise by the State of New Jersey and is an affiliate of Keller Engineers, Inc. (KEI), the parent company, which was founded in 1991 by Joseph G. Keller, PE. KEI’s Corporate Headquarters is located in Hollidaysburg, PA. They are celebrating their 30-year anniversary.
The day-to-day operations of KENJ is managed by President, Samir D. Mody, PE. Sam has 39 years’ experience in the administration, management, design and construction of civil/transportation projects in the Northeast Region of the United States. His experience includes planning, design and construction of bridges, highways, aviation and commuter rail/transit infrastructure with an aggregate value of $4B during his career, while serving both the public and private industries. Our transportation clients range from State and Public Agencies including NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, DRJTBC, The Port Authority of NY & NJ, NJ Counties and MPO’s while the private sector ranges from land use attorneys, developers and local municipalities.

The Hollidaysburg office serves as Keller’s center of excellence for engineering and ancillary services such as civil, structural, railroad, transportation, bridge inspection, land development, surveying, water/wastewater and construction management/inspection and has the largest concentration of personnel in the firm, housing more than 60 professionals. The team includes engineers, landscape architects, environmental specialists, CADD drafting technicians, surveyors, and administrative staff.
