The Thunder are the premier entertainment experience and have drawn over 10 million fans over 30 years while winning major Minor League Baseball awards including the Johnson Trophy for the “Nation’s Best Franchise”, the Larry MacPhail Trophy for Outstanding Club Promotion and the Bob Frietas Award for Long-Term Success. The team has given back over $7.5 million worth of goods, services, and monetary donations through the Grand Slam We Care Foundation.

Outside the diamond, the Thunder proudly works with and supports local community partners on various projects. To name a few, they’ve been a Toys for Tots drop off site for the last two years, they work closely with the Miracle League of Mercer County on many different initiatives, including the wearing of specialty jerseys in 2023, and they partner with City of Angels on an annual Addiction Awareness Night. These are only a few of the projects that the Thunder works on throughout the year.
