Emerging Leaders Network Professional Development Membership Spotlight: Alyssa Sendler
Alyssa Sendler is the Catering Sales Manager for the Holiday Inn Philadelphia-Cherry Hill. She started her career in the hospitality industry right out of high school, working in the entertainment/arcade field for eight long years! After working for a wedding planning company, she entered the hotel field as a Sales Coordinator for a local hotel in Mt. Laurel. From there, she worked her way up as an Admin Assistant to Director of Sales, and now ten years later, a Catering Sales Manager. Alyssa has worked for brands such as Starwood, Marriott, Hilton, and IHG.
During her many years in the hotel industry, she opened a hotel in Mt. Laurel, was on the PHL Diversity Advisory Board for four years, and even traveled to Atlanta, GA to complete her Access Edge Certification through Marriott! Alyssa’s current position puts her front and center of all the meetings & events hosted at the hotel. While coordinating the details and menus, she makes sure everything is taken care of, to make everything perfect for the day!
She is currently a part of the Emerging Leaders Network Committee (ELN) for the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Alyssa is excited to be a part of such an amazing team! She loves creating a fun atmosphere for everyone who attends the ELN Monthly Events. As a South Jersey native, who has lived in Stratford for over thirty years, she knows all the great stores and restaurants to go to! When she’s not dressed her best for work, you can find her either rooting for her favorite Philadelphia sports teams, or in a comfy pair of sweats watching TV and cuddling up with her cat, Kit Kat!
