This Week’s River LINE Meeting with NJ Transit
This Week’s River LINE Meeting with NJ Transit
Tuesday night, we had 150 people – elected officials, police chiefs, riders, and residents alike – attend our River LINE public meeting with New Jersey Transit. I want to thank everyone who made the time at the end of their busy day to come so they could voice their concerns as part of our collective effort to improve this region’s only rail service. Our riders and our communities deserve a reliable and safe mass transit service, and it is our hope that with the feedback given last night, we will see tangible improvements made to the River LINE. For those who could not attend, here are the links to the full video of the meeting and to NJ Transit’s power point presentation which addressed the three areas of our concerns – reliability, pedestrian safety, and public safety.
