About being a woman owned business:
During my corporate career at GE, I had the great pleasure of being a part of their women’s network (2006-2017). The purpose of the network was to create a smart space for development, exposure, and advocacy for the women in the organization ultimately leading to their personal and professional growth.
This same theme is being carried into my consulting practice:
ThriveWise was granted WBENC certification in 2021, which is national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). This organization provides access to executive education programs and business development opportunities, as well as enables ThriveWise be listed as an approved and qualified woman-owned business for companies committed to fostering diversity.
As an individual, I belong to two “tribes” of professional women where I continue networking and development experiences and opportunities. In these monthly meetings we tackle a range of topics in a developmental and positive environment to continue to support and uplift each other.
As a coach and mentor of others, my greatest responsibility to community and myself is to help others thrive.
