Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself.  Women in business often advocate zealously for clients but are passive when it comes to advancing their own careers.  It is important for women to take advantage of opportunities to champion successes, especially when seeking professional development and growth.  Find ways to make yourself marketable by volunteering for tasks and learning experiences.  Be proud of the value you add to a business, speak up and distinguish yourself from others.
