About

Bill joined the family business in 1990 as a recruiter in the health care industry and quickly began to learn the business “hands on”. As his knowledge of the industry grew, Bill diversified his experience by taking on other roles such as outside sales and division manager. In 1998, company founders Skip and Annette Emerson decided to ease their way out of the day-to-day operations and Bill stepped in as president.

Bill continually strives to create a work environment that breed’s success and allows people to grow. “Creating an environment that helps both clients and employees reach their personal, professional and financial goals is my number one priority. When this is accomplished, everything else falls into place.” He continues, “Emerson’s foundation is built on honesty, integrity, communication and loyalty. My parents established this in 1971 and we all still live by it today. Yes, I am biased, but I truly believe the team we have put together is the most talented and professional group in the industry.”

On a personal note, Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts and currently resides in Moorestown, NJ. He is extremely active in the community and current board member of Greater Philadelphia YMCA and President of the Mid-Atlantic Staffing Association (MASA). Past involvement with non-profits and within the community include Chairman of the Board for the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties, Chairman of Tri-State Human Resources Career Management Committee, President of Moorestown Football Parents Club, President of The Tender, Chairman of Burlington County YMCA Human Resources Council, member of Urban Promise Development Committee, President of Garden State Rotary Club, President of Moorestown Youth Football and active coach in Moorestown youth sports.
