The Moorestown Theater Company is a year-round community theater based in Moorestown, but which accepts performers and students from all over the Delaware Valley. Founded in 2003, MTC presents 15 to 20 musical productions per season, including musicals for children and adults. At the end of its 20th Season in December 2022, MTC has presented 938 performances of 209 productions by 8,877 Cast Members. The non-profit organization also offers Performing Arts Studio Classes for children in Acting, Dance, and Voice during its Fall, Winter, and Spring Sessions. MTC has received 53 ‘Best Of’ Awards from various publications/organizations since 2007 (including the ‘Community Enrichment Award’ from this Chamber in 2016), earned 15 acting awards in 11 trips to the national Jr. Theater Festival in Atlanta, GA since 2013, and won two awards at the regional ESTA Fest in 2017.  MTC has presented one World Premiere (“Magic Tree House: A Ghost Tale For Mr. Dickens, Jr.”) and six ‘pilot’ productions!  Besides this Chamber, MTC is a proud member of American Association of Community Theater (AACT), iTheatrics, NJ Association of Community Theater (NJACT), NJ Theater League (NJTL), Art Pride New Jersey / Discover Jersey Arts (APNJ / DJA), South Jersey Cultural Association (SJCA), Visit South Jersey (VSJ), South Jersey Theatre League (SJTL), Non Profit Development Council of Southern New Jersey (NPDCSNJ), Burlington County Regional Chamber Of Commerce (BCRCC), Moorestown Business Association (MBA), Moorestown Creates!
