The Community Based (Mobile) Clinician will provide culturally competent mental health services to individuals and families experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns.

This role provides therapeutic services to adults, adolescents, and children with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis.

Therapy includes psycho-educational activities/interventions designed to assist the client in lessening or eliminating dysfunction being experienced. Services are provided with several therapeutic orientations and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal specific interventions.

**Full License Required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)**

Will accept LAC, LSW or LAMFT if due to be completed within six (6) months of hire.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial screenings and mental health assessments that identify service needs and recommend options for care.
  • Share assessment findings with clients and their families.
  • Involve client and their families in the development of treatment plan goals, objectives and interventions that address their assessed behavioral health needs.
  • Provide individual, family and group therapy services.
  • Provide case management services to assist clients and their families with access to needed benefits and services
  • Provide coordinated care by initiating or participating in client centered consultation with other internal and external providers involved in care or services.
  • Reassess and review treatment progress with clients and their families at prescribed intervals.
  • Assist in establishing effective communication between the Center, other social agencies serving clients, and the community
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a Mental Health field (i.e., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling)
  • Full License Required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT). Will accept LAC, LSW or LAMFT if due to be completed within six (6) months of hire.
  • Three (3) years mental health experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing the operations of treatment services using a variety of auditing tools.
  • Experience in delivery and administration of mental health care systems.
  • Demonstrated effective decision-making skills in treatment service setting.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Job Specifications:

Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office software.

Working environment is friendly group and individual setting.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires intermittent sitting and standing; position requires constant use of hands for computer keyboard and report writing. Position requires occasional lifting of up to 10lbs. Requires good visual and auditory acuity for monitoring and responding to group participation.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-Time and Per Diem

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
