Browns Mills, NJ – Deborah Hospital Foundation announced the promotion of Steve Toal to Executive Vice President & Chief Philanthropy Officer. This advancement recognizes Toal's exemplary leadership and significant impact on the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives, reinforcing its position as one of the nation’s leading philanthropic organizations.

Toal, who joined Deborah in 2011, has guided the  Foundation to achieve notable milestones. The Foundation became the first hospital foundation in New Jersey to receive a 4-star rating and a perfect 100/100 score from Charity Navigator. The Foundation was also recognized as the 2024 Nonprofit of the Year by NJBIZ, highlighting its reputation and significant community impact.

Toal continues to play an essential role in Deborah100: The Project, a $108 million campus expansion initiative, the latest phase in Deborah’s natural evolution and growth. Scheduled to open in 2025, this state-of-the-art facility offers 36 private patient suites, innovative medical technology, expanded capabilities and amenities, further enhancing Deborah’s people-centered focus to specialized care.
