In 1964, a dedicated group of parents and volunteers embarked on a mission to address the limited employment opportunities for adults with disabilities. Fueled by a vision of creating meaningful employment services, they laid the foundation for what would later become the Occupational Training Center, or OTC. At its humble beginnings, OTC operated out of the basement of a school, training just eight individuals. Fast-forward to the present day and OTC has evolved into a beacon of empowerment, providing comprehensive training to over 500 individuals in various vocational disciplines. The growth from its modest origins to this expansive reach showcases OTC's unwavering commitment to its founding principles. The organization's services have become a vital resource, equipping adults with disabilities with the skills they need not only for the workforce but for success in all facets of life.
