Alice Paul Institute's Girls Leadership Council (GLC) is a space where teens gather to discuss issues related to gender equity, build community, and develop their skills as advocates and leaders. Their unique curriculum helps members feel equipped to have meaningful conversations about history, human rights, intersectionality, and civic engagement. Members meet monthly at Paulsdale in Mount Laurel, NJ.

• October 2024 | International Day of the Girl at the United Nations, NYC
• January-March 2025 | GLC Community Service Project
• May 2025 | GLC Mentor Night

• August 2025 | Summer Overnight Excursion

Cost per member: $275 ($200 membership + $75 registration fee)

• 10 GLC meeting sessions starting in September 2024-June 2025

LeaderTRIP 2024: Girls Overnight Excursion in Washington, D.C.

Join API for a LeaderTRIP to our nation's capital to learn more about the women who helped shape our history with special tours of the Belmont Paul Women's Equality National Monument and visitation to the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

When: 8/2-8/3/2024

Where: Washington, D.C. accommodations will be at Catholic University

Who can join: Girls between the ages of 14-18

Overnight fee: $300 (fee covers accommodations, meals, & transportation)
