Samaritan’s Annual Golf Tournament Drive FORE! A Good Cause Set for June 26, 2023, Sponsorship Opportunities Now Available
“Drive FORE! A Good Cause,” Samaritan’s annual golf tournament, presented by The Richardson Family Dealerships, will take place on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Little Mill Country Club in Marlton. Registration opens at 10 a.m., with a shot-gun start at 11:15 a.m. All proceeds from the event will support the not-for-profit’s comprehensive family of services, which benefit seriously ill patients and their families and those grieving a loss.
“Every year, our annual golf tournament is another way for us to support our organization’s mission and dedicated work of provide life-enhancing care to all those in need throughout the southern New Jersey region,” said Phillip W. Heath, president and CEO of Samaritan. “This tournament can be attributed to the hard work of our returning golf committee co-chairs, Cliff Mancine and Roy Fazio, and all the members of our golf committee. I would like to sincerely thank our sponsors, volunteers, and registered golfers – your contributions and generosity make this event possible, and more successful, each year!”
The 18-hole, scramble-format tournament will feature the Lexus Champions for Charity, sponsored by Lexus of Cherry Hill, offering an exclusive chance to play at the famous Pebble Beach! In addition to the Lexus Champions for Charity, the golf tournament will also feature a variety of other fun activities, sponsored by Challenge Sponsor Mancine Optical, including: hole-in-one contests that offer a chance to win luxury automobiles by Lexus of Cherry Hill, mulligans, 50/50 raffles, various individual/foursome awards and more.
Samaritan will once again host an online auction to coincide with the golf tournament, allowing both golfers at the tournament and those who are not able to attend the opportunity to bid on a variety of items – from rounds of golf and other unique experiences to amazing gift baskets.
Golfer spots, sponsorship, and volunteer opportunities are now available – registration is required, and pricing to participate in this year’s tournament is $350 per golfer (includes greens fees/golf cart, tournament shirt, lunch, dinner and awards reception). There is also a dinner-only option available for those who wish to support Samaritan and only attend our award reception and dinner – dinner is held in the late afternoon (around 4:30 p.m.), once all golfers have completed their round.
